Eva Schockmel & Yuting Wu | Royal College of Music
Friday 8 May 2026: Chinese guitarist Yuting Wu opens with a refined first half spanning Mompou, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, and Laura Snowden, preceded by a short duo from her Junior RCM students. After the interval, Luxembourgish guitarist and RCM scholar Eva Victoria Schockmel takes the stage with a wide-ranging solo programme from Dowland and Barrios to the world premiere of a newly commissioned work written expressly for her.
Zoe Barnett & Vona Duo
Friday 05 June 2026: Vona Duo — Hope Cramsie and Ingrid Horvei Lyslo — open this WiGS Emerging Artists concert with a first half championing new music by women composers, having performed at venues ranging from the National Portrait Gallery to the Brussels Guitar Laboratory Festival. RCM Masters graduate Zoe Barnett then takes the stage for the second half, known for her distinctive standing performance style and appearances at Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, and internationally across Europe and China. Together they make for a compelling evening of fresh, adventurous guitar playing.
All concerts take place at St Saviour's Church, Grand Drive, Raynes Park, London SW20 9DL.
